The Nelson Acoustical Engineering (NAE) Multi-Channel Real Time Analyzer (MCRTA) is an executable application developed for the National Instruments PCI-455x series of data acquisition cards with on-board digital signal processing running the NI-DSA real-time octave driver software. Although it was developed using the LabView programming environment, users need not have LabView running on their system (LabView RunTime engine required).
The NAE MCRTA utilizing Microsoft Excel exports data directly into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
It also uses Excel as a configuration tool, allowing the software to be configured for acquiring the data from one board or multiple boards, depending on hardware availability.
