Multi-Channel Real Time Analyzer
The Nelson Acoustical Engineering Multi-Channel Real Time Analyzer (NAE
MCRTA)
utilizes the National Instruments PCI-455x series of Digital Signal Analyzers, the
NI-DSA w/Octave Driver and LabView to create a ready-to-run executable application for multi-channel real time analysis.
The NAE MCRTA has been designed to work with Microsoft Excel. Users may configure the virtual real time analyzer by making
entries into an Excel spreadsheet. Measured data is exported into Excel workbook template files, allowing users to place data in any cell of any worksheet.
Excel templates can be pre-programmed to analyze the data as it is obtained, providing the user the feeling of making measurements
or measuring directly into the spreadsheet.
The NAE MCRTA software and the NI PC-455x hardware provide the lowest cost solution for multi-channel real time analysis with Type 1 compliant 1/3 octave band filtering. A 4-channel, 10kHz measurement system costs under $13K! Add additional channels for about $1,500 per channel (excluding transducers)

NAE Multi-Channel RTA Demo
The NAE Multi-Channel RTA Demo is a free, downloadable demonstration version of the NAE Multi-Channel Real Time Analyzer software. It is a fully functional version of the application software that is limited to acquiring simulated data. Users need not have LabView or a data acquisition card installed on their system, only the free LabView Run Time Engine is required.
