Sound Quality Toolset
The Nelson Acoustical Engineering Sound Quality Toolset is a set of National Instruments LabView VI's (Virtual Instrument Subroutines) that perform sound quality analysis for several common psychoacoustics metrics. These VI's are designed for use by LabView programmers who wish to integrate sound quality analysis into their own LabView programs. The NAE Sound Quality Toolset VI's are the same signal processing VI's used in the Nelson Acoustics Sound Quality Analyzer without the user interface.
The Sound Quality Toolset VI's are provided as LabView VI's with input and output terminals for integration into standard LabView programs. The following signal processing VI's are included with the NAE Sound Quality Toolset:
- ISO 532B Loudness
- Non-Stationary Loudness (2ms)
- Sharpness
- Roughness
- Fluctuation Strength
- Tonality – Aures method. Coming Q406
- Modulation – Coming Q406
